This project started with a question: When did Blue Ridge begin to change? I grew up visiting my grandparents in Fannin County, where my father grew up. Every visit revealed some change. Some stores grew in scale, others disappeared. Blue Ridge's main street is now completely remade since I first experienced it, but I wanted to get more perspectives. In order to answer this question, I decided to ask people who grew up in Fannin County about their memories of Blue Ridge, and their thoughts on when the town's transition began.
