Further investigation revealed a well kept cemetery. There was also a plaque dedicated to the school that operated there until 1964, and the Padgett's Chapel AME church. Padgett's Chapel was one of the historic buildings surveyed and added to <a href="https://www.gnahrgis.org/">GNAHRGIS</a>. The information listed below pertains to that specific structure.
